Ken Jenkins is a nationally known naturalist, outdoor writer, publisher, lecturer and natural history photographer. His articles and photography have been published in over 300 national publications, such as National Geographic, Cousteau, Backpacker, Southern Living and Audubon. Galleries across the country, including the prestigious Sarasota Arts Center and Air force Academy, have displayed his photography as have regional affiliates of all the major television networks and the Public Broadcasting System.

Ken's lectures and exclusive workshop program (Sponsored by Nikon, Inc. for four years) have carried him thoughout the National Park System and into major cities in the Southeast. For the last sixteen years he has led natural history tours into Alaska, the Galapagos Islands, Montana, Wyoming, Norhtwest Territories, and Tennessee.

Ken makes his home in Gatlinburg, Tennessee where he has owned and operated Beneath the Smoke Gallery and Nature Company for twelve years and more recently began Pathways To Nature.

He is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association and the Tennessee Outdoor Writers and hes recently been nominated as an Honorary Fellow in the Explorers Club in New York.
