For many of us, the western landscape began in the movies or our youth. My family camped across the West from the time I was six. My dad was an avid reader of history and our travels became a great learning adventure. Early sunrises and sunsets were spent on tall prairies and deep canyons, lazy winding rivers, and on snow-covered mountain tops. Later in life, I took summer work in Wyoming and Colorado which led to a deeper love for the diversity and incredible beauty of the West. This gallery is an attempt to evoke the moods of the West through interpretive images. From storms to rainbows and night skies, find your place and never lose the wonder.
